Quick update on the new rescues (now named Nash & River): They’re settling in well and letting us treat their severe rain rot — a bacterial skin condition that makes a lot of scabs and ouchies on their skin, and is making their hair fall out in clumps. We’re putting weight on them slowly and carefully. Despite everything they’ve been through, they are so sweet, and today the little chestnut (Nash, 6 months old) let me give him a haircut. They are going to be amazing companions for someone when they are all better! ❤️❤️❤️
